I don't know why people hesitate when taking chances. It's maybe because fear is the only reason holding them back. We have chances and opportunities waiting out there for us and it's really up to us to take that extra step forward. We never realise how chances are always within our reach, it's just that we hesitate before making a decision. It's true because we sometimes hold back from making a decision with the risks associated with taking that chance. There are people that are born as risk-takers and there are also people that stay in their comfort zone. We're all different from one another, and that's okay.
Yes, taking chances come with risks, but at the end of the day, you learn from experiencing and taking opportunities. Life is full of learning, I don't mean in an academic sense, but we as humans always learn from a day-to-day basis. We learn that sometimes taking chances isn't such a bad thing, and even if it were, we'd still learn from it. It's not so much risking everything for just that chance, but it's the ability to make the decision of taking that chance in the first place. Making decisions can be very hard for some people, but sometimes, we just need to let-loose of the possibilities and go out there without thinking so much.
So don't be afraid to take a chance. I know it's clichÄ— to say that but it's amazing how much you learn along the way. We only live once, so make the most of the chances out there for you. Don't be afraid of what's at stake because you never really know what you're in for unless you try.
